ONE TABLE. ONE COMMUNITY.
The Poor People’s Dinner
An Interfaith Gathering Celebrating the Power of Hospitality
For twenty nine years, Project Hospitality’s Poor People’s Dinner has brought Staten Island together across faiths, traditions, and communities to raise awareness of hunger and food insecurity and to remind us of our shared responsibility to care for our neighbors.
This longstanding tradition creates space for reflection, fellowship, and service while calling us to recognize the realities faced by individuals and families experiencing hunger. One Table. One Community. honors that legacy by bringing people together in solidarity, dignity, and compassion—and by reaffirming the Power of Hospitality to strengthen community and inspire meaningful action.
